Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has cleared all of his concussion protocols today and will play Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, per Jason LaCanfora of

LaCanfora on Twitter:

"Jay Cutler passing all concussion protocols, will start Sunday for the Bears against the Vikings."

Cutler suffered the concussion two weeks ago against the Houston Texans after taking an illegal helmet-to-helmet hit by LB Tim Dobbins -- for which Dobbins was fined $30,000.

Cutler did not play last week against the San Francisco 49ers. He practiced on a limited basis on both Thursday and Friday this week. He was tested today by an independent neurologist to make sure all concussion symptoms have passed.

"It's looking good," Lovie Smith said yesterday of Cutler. "He was able to do more today than he did yesterday."

Smith said, if Cutler is cleared to play, he will start against the Vikings. The Bears don't have to declare Cutler active until 90 minutes before kickoff tomorrow.
