Defensive end Phillip Daniels is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Bears and linebacker…
''We're pleased with the way he's coming along,'' Tyer said, ''but we're not quite ready.''
Also, kicker John Hall strained a groin in practice today and is listed as questionable. It's his third injury in five games and this appears to be worse than the hamstring injuries. He kicked two balls in practice today, then couldn't continue. If he can't play, look for the team to sign Ola Kimrin, who looked good this summer.
Defensive tackle Joe Salave'a was upgraded to probable. But end Ron Warner (ankle) and tackle Kenyatta Jones (ankle) remain listed as questionable. Corner Shawn Springs did not practice for the second straight day, but he's probable with an ankle injury and will practice Friday. Tyer said Warner will practice Friday and likely will be upgraded to probable.
End Phillip Daniels is out, but the Redskins say he's progressing well and could be ready for the Green Bay game on Oct. 24.
