Given his horrible injury almost two years ago, it's generally not good to hear "Brandon Noble" and "knee surgery" in the same paragraph. But the procedure was a minor one on his other knee.

Linebacker Marcus Washington and defensive tackle Brandon Noble will undergo surgery tomorrow. But neither is expected to miss substantial time.

Washington will have surgery to remove a bening growth on his hip, which he also had removed several weeks before joining the Redskins last offseason. It's caused him some discomfort this offseason, Gibbs said.

Washington might be back in time for the June 17-19 minicamp.

Noble will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee -- not the rebuilt one, but he'll be fine in time for the June minicamp.
