Barrow, Lott released
Barrow spent most of last season on the active roster, until the Redskins finally realized he would not return and put him on the disabled list. Based on roster moves, it appeared the Redskins didn't think he'd be much of a factor this season either. They drafted or signed a number of linebackers seeking depth.
Barrow also had asked for permission to seek a trade two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the Redskins waived Andre Lott, who missed most of last season with a knee injury. They signed veteran safety Omar Stoutmire on Friday.
