It appears that Mark Brunell will play on Sunday, but kicker John Hall is still out.
Novak Cut, LB McCune, TE Johnson Up From PS
The Redskins like McCune's physical attributes, though, this summer, they said he was far behind some others in terms of reading offenses. But it appears McCune has improved in that area, a reason for the move. His improvement here also likely spurred the release of rookie Zak Keasey from the practice squad earlier in the week. Novak only missed two field goals in his five games, though both were blocked.
Cornerback Dimitri Patterson was also waived.
