Ramsey goes to Jets for sixth-rounder.

In a move that has been anticipated for quite some time, Redskins quarterback Patrick Ramsey has been traded to the New York Jets for their sixth-round selection in the upcoming draft according to broadcast reports.

Ramsey was the team’s first-round selection in 2002. He started in 24 games, including the season opener in 2005 after which he lost the starting job to Mark Brunell. After that, it was widely believed that he would be traded.
