Skins Reel In Snapper For Another Year

Posted Jan 8, 2007

The Redskins retain a valued member of their special teams.

Long snapper Ethan Albright doesn't garner headlines -- and that's why the Redskins like him.

Albright re-signed with Washington today. Though the terms of the deal weren't disclosed, Albright typically signs for one year for the veteran minimum; that way, he doesn't count as much under the salary cap.

Albright joined the Redskins in 2001 and has played in the NFL since 1995. He rarely has off-target snaps and hasn't had any disasters since playing for the Redskins.
