Redskins receiver Santana Moss was listed as probable on the injury report, a positive sign in his bid to play against Dallas Sunday.

Moss said he would play after practicing Friday. He had missed the previous two days, as well as the Eagles’ game last weekend, because of a bruised heel. Earlier in the week, Moss said he had a hard time even putting on his shoe.

But he improved each day, giving a boost to a position sorely in need of one. With James Thrash and Brandon Lloyd already out, the Redskins were thin at receiver if Moss could not play. Now they have Moss, Antwaan Randle El and James Thrash available. Reche Caldwell or Jimmy Farris could also be activated. Caldwell has played sparingly since his arrival in Washington.
