Redskins Left Tackle Chris Samuels was fined for a chop block against the Bears on December 6, 2007.

As expected, Redskins left tackle Chris Samuels was fined $12,500 by the NFL for a chop block on Chicago defensive tackle Antonio Garay in Washington's 24-16 win on Dec. 6.

Garay suffered a broken right leg on the play. Samuels phoned Bears coach Lovie Smith this past week to apologize for the hit.
