See what Zorn, Heyer, Rinehart, Kendall, Geisinger, Rogers, Sellers, Smoot, Randle El and Betts had…
Jansen has not ruled out playing Sunday vs. Cincinnati, but it appears unlikely that he would be available. He played with a similar injury as a rookie – back when his body was in much better condition than it is now.
Stephon Heyer will replace Samuels on the left side; Jason Fabini will take over for Jansen. Devin Clark will be signed off the practice squad and rookie Chad Rinehart is another option.
Also, Justin Geisinger suffered a knee injury. If he's lost for any length of time, then left guard Pete Kendall would become the backup center.
"We can't get any more injuries, we just can't," said Redskins coach Jim Zorn. "That's my mandate to them."
Samuels will eventually undergo surgery.
Safety Chris Horton (shoulder) has a good chance of playing Sunday. Defensive tackle Kedric Golston (foot) is expected to play. Corner Shawn Springs (foot) will be in the same situation he's been in for quite a while: game-time decision.
