The Eagles running back chatted with the Washington media earlier this week, giving his thoughts on everything from Donovan McNabb to his brother, Byron Westbrook.

Q: How much a shock was it when Andy sat Donovan down?
A: That was a surprise. I don’t think it has anything to do with us playing better. I just think we’re playing better. That situation was a surprise to us.

Q: Did it light a fire under Donovan?
A: No, I don’t think so.

Q: What does a healthier Brian Westbrook mean to your offense?
A: Having a healthy running back definitely helps our team. So does having a running game that is explosive and can produce and get our team in situations where we can run or pass on third down. That definitely helps us.

Q: Do the Redskins look like a different team to you?
A: They’re playing very well. The last two games they haven’t been themselves, but we’ll prepare to see the same team we saw back in October.

Q: How confident are you that the Eagles wil make the playoffs?
A: Very confident. Very confident.

Q: If you win out and you don’t make it, would it be a disappointing season?
A: Our goal is to make the playoffs and get in a position where we can win the Super Bowl. So we would definitely be disappointed.

Q: If you don’t make it, would you get any satisfacti on out of a strong finish?
A: No.

Q: Is there anything your brother does better than you on the field?
A: Probably tackling.

Q: Your brother said he could beat up on you and that he’s bigger, what do you think of that?
A: That’s not true. He can try, but that is definitely not true.

Q: Anything riding on this game with him?
A: Just family bragging rights.
