Redskins Anounce First Cuts

The Redskins cut five players today to get the roster down to 75.

Hera are the five players that were cut today:

  • LB Alfred Fincher
  • OL Devin Clark
  • DB Michael Grant
  • DE Michael Marquardt
  • WR Marques Hagans


The only one that might come as a bit of a surprise is LB Alfred Fincher. Fincher was with the Redskins all last year and made a few plays on Special Teams.

The Redskins drafted two linebackers and that might explain the release of Fincher.
