Russ Grimm is a Hall of Famer

Today, the NFL Hall of Fame announced that Russ Grimm would be inducted in the 2010 induction class.

Russ Grimm was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1981 NFL Draft by the Redskins. Grimm, along with Jeff Bostic, Mark May, George Starke and Joe Jacob comprised "The Hogs." This offensive line is a permanent fixture in the Redskins' glory years under then head coach Joe Gibbs.

Russ Grimm started 114 games and played in a total of 140 games in his Redskins career. During this span, Russ Grimm played in 4 Super Bowls and 4 consecutive Pro Bowls.

Before being inducted this year, Grimm was a semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004, and a finalist in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
