Aldon Smith

Deja vu for Aldon Smith against Washington

After making a good impression in his 2014 debut last week against the Giants, outside linebacker Aldon Smith hopes to have a big game against Washington Sunday. Oddly enough, it was a Week 12, two-sack performance against Robert Griffin III that spring boarded a good finish last season following his leave from the team. He's looking for something similar Sunday.

Daily Dr. Roto: Tight End Injuries

Daily Dr. Roto: Tight End Injuries

A ton of injuries are hitting some of the top names at the tight end position. This means more teams than usual will be looking for alternatives and their absences will have ripple effects across their prospective offenses. For example, it won't help Robert Griffin III very much to be without TE Jordan Reed (pictured above)

Linebacker NaVorro Bowman, who won't practice this week, is slated to visit the doctor this Friday to see if his knee is recovered enough to begin practicing in the coming weeks. "They Got a Win, But..."

"They Got a Win, But..."

The Buccaneers got their 2nd win last Sunday in a 27-7 victory over the Washington Redskins. Any win for the Bucs is a big deal, which is why some fans were overly excited with the outcome. For national analysts like Greg Cosell of NFL Films, last Sunday's win for the Bucs was far from impressive.

Dontae Johnson

Johnson heads nickel platoon

With first-round pick Jimmie Ward done for the year with a foot injury, the 49ers are going to look to multiple players to play the nickel corner position going forward. And that will likely start fellow rookie Dontae Johnson.

Week 12: Player Downgrades

Week 12: Player Downgrades

Every week, Fantasy Football Expert Rusty Reeves predicts a heaping handful of players who will decline in the coming weeks. They should be downgraded at least one tier.
