Biography:

How Acquired: Washington was selected in the second round (59th overall) by Indianapolis in the 2000 NFL Draft.

Washington was signed by the Redskins as an unrestricted free agent on March 5, 2004.

Career Stats: NFL.COM

2006: Washington started 14 games, missing the last two due to a knee injury. He recorded 106 tackles (78 solo), third-best on the team, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

2005: Washington started all 16 games in his second year with the Redskins. He also started both of the Redskins' playoff games. He finished with 125 tackles (95 solo), second-best on the team and he set a career-high in forced fumbles with four. He recorded 7.5 sacks, also second-best on the team.

2004: Washington earned a Pro Bowl nod for his 2004 performance, in which he started all 16 games and recorded 130 tackles (102 solo) and 4.5 sacks. He also recorded 14 special teams tackles.

2003: Washington started all 16 games for the second time in his career and also started all three playoff games.

2002: Washington started 15 games before missing vs. Jacksonville (12/29) with a knee injury, snapping string of 31 consecutive starts. He finished the season with 78 tackles, 42 solo, two sacks, 10 QB pressures, three passes defensed, one fumble recovery and one interception.

2001: Washington started 16 games and finished second on team in tackles in first full season as starter. He totaled 119 tackles, 81 solo, eight sacks, two passes defensed and 18 QB hits.

2000: He played in 16 games as rookie and totaled 15 tackles, seven solo, two sacks, seven QB hits and one interception. He also had 13 special teams tackles, nine solo.

College: Washington was a four-year letterman and two-year starter at Auburn and played left defensive end as senior. He led the team with seven sacks and 21 QB pressures and also posted 52 tackles, 29 solo.
