5 Skins headed to Europe

The Washington Redskins allocated five players to NFL Europe. Skins WR Justin Skaggs, DE Mike Cecere, T Akil Smith, CB Bruce Branch, and RB Robert Gillespie will all report to the Tampa Bay area for NFL Europe training camp on February 24.

The Redskins allocated five players to NFL Europe on Wednesday afternoon.

Wide Receiver Justin Skaggs, Defensive End Mike Cecere, Tackle Akil Smith, Corner Back Bruce Branch, and Running Back Robert Gillespie  will all report to the Tampa Bay area for NFL Europe training camp on Feb. 24.

Justin Skaggs will play for the Amsterdam Admirals

Mike Cecere will play for the Amsterdam Admirals

Akil Smith will play for the Barcelona Dragons

Bruce Branch will play for the Barcelona Dragons

Robert Gillespie will play for the Frankfurt Galaxy

Teams will report to Europe on March 23 and the NFL Europe season will kick off of April 5. World Bowl XI will be the final game of the NFL Europe season and it will be held on June 14 in Glasgow, Scotland.
